Frederico Marques
DirectorFrederico brings over 25 years experience in mining, M&A, legal and corporate experiences to the Board of Directors of PTX. Frederico has worked with several leading mineral exploration and mining companies around the globe, including as an independent director of Sigma Lithium Corp. (from June 2018 until June 2023). As a former partner of major Canadian law firms and in-house counsel at Vale S.A. Frederico worked with early-stage mineral exploration projects and large mining operations in over 20 mining jurisdictions, with a focus in the Americas. Throughout his career, Frederico was involved in over US$30 Billion in M&A, financings, joint ventures and other sophisticated transactions.
Greg Ferron
President, Chief Executive Officer, DirectorMr. Ferron has 20 years of mining industry, capital markets and corporate development experience. He has held senior level roles at Laramide Resources Ltd., Treasury Metals Inc., Fancamp Exploration, Omai Gold Mines, TMX Group and Scotiabank. Mr. Ferron has diverse merger and acquisitions experience, including Laramide’s Westwater ISR project acquisition and as CEO of Treasury Metals (now NexGold Mining Corp) led the Goldlund project acquisition, creating one of Canada’s largest gold developers. During his tenure as the CEO at Treasury, he created significant shareholder value.
Sam Kiri, CFA, CMA
Director, Head of Audit CommitteeMr. Kiri has over 20 years of capital markets and asset management experience in North America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim, with a primary focus on the mining and energy sectors. He was an equity analyst for the Scotia Pacific Rim Mutual Fund and one of the founders of Proactive Investors, a global media network which provides information on capital market activities, with considerable focus on the mining sector. In addition, he is involved in cross border capital markets with ASX, and London AIM companies onto the Toronto Stock Exchange. Sam was involved in macro policy research with focus on the impact of geo-politics on the energy and mining sectors. His past and present clients include Medley Global Advisors (US), Zimmerman Adams International (UK), CRU Group (UK) and Roskill/Wood Mackenzie (UK) global research institution specialized in Battery Metals and Industrial Minerals. Mr. Kiri’s education includes a B.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering – (Petroleum Refining) and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (London).
Christophe Vereecke, MBA
ChairmanMr. Vereecke is a businessman and entrepreneur based in Paris, with a background in finance, oil and gas, mine royalties and renewable energy (post mining). As an entrepreneur he has been involved in the startup of several businesses including co-founder and former chief financial officer of BOP Energy, a physical oil trading and logistics company operating in Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Vereecke’s current investment firm has a focus in the extractive industry, mine royalties, and the diamond markets. He has been a director of Treasury Metals Inc. since 2015. Mr. Vereecke holds a GG (Graduate Gemologist) from the GIA in USA and an MBA 2 (Wealth Management & Family Office) from Financia Business School in France.
Rajesh Sharma
DirectorMr. Sharma has 25 years of leadership experience in mining, exploration, metals and international trade. He has executive experience in advancing exploration and mining projects including investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and running global businesses. Past roles include Executive in Residence at Investissement Quebec, CEO and Board Member of TSMC, Board member of SFPPN, PPP for Port at SFPPN, CEO and Board Member of Black Ginger 461 Pty Ltd, investment arm of Tata for mineral projects in Africa, Board member of exploration company Tata Steel Cote D’Ivoire. Rajesh has management and engineering degrees. He completed a scholarship program on Globalization and Leadership from London School of Economics. He was granted the ICD.D designation by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Jean-David (“JD”) Moore, M.Sc.
DirectorJean-David Moore has been a consultant and an advisor to several mineral exploration and development companies for more than fifteen years. He holds large holdings in several mineral exploration companies and has developed a strong resource-focused network of professionals and investors in the sector.
Mr. Moore is a director of Fokus Mining Corp. and served as a director of Vanstar Mining Resources Inc., which was acquire by Iamgold Corp. in February 2024.
A graduate of Laval University in Forestry Engineering, Mr. Moore holds a master’s degree also from Laval University, in Québec. He is a member of the Order of Forest Engineers of the Province of Québec (OIFQ). As a forestry scientist, he has published more than 75 scientific publications in international journals. JD’s field work as a forestry scientist introduced him to the mineral exploration industry, his research work delved into sensitive environments in the boreal zone in northern Quebec’s Abitibi region.
James R. Trusler, P.Eng.
Director, Technical AdvisorMr. Trusler is a geological engineer with over 45 years of exploration experience with a history of discovery and strategic acquisitions of world class scale gold, uranium and Ni-Cu-PGE deposits. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of the Company. Mr. Trusler has also been the president of J. R. Trusler & Associates (mineral consultant) since 1995.
